- Wheeled all-terrain vehicles (WATV): some four-wheeled machines must be titled as WATVs, with a metal tag. Riding on public roads is only allowed on approved roads in permitted counties. DOL WATV rules (opens in a new tab)
- Riders under 16: must be supervised by a licensed adult over 18.
- Gated roads: in the Teanaway Community Forest, ORVs and ATVs can’t use gated roads closed to motor vehicles.
